Anderson Picks Up Win against Spalding

The Anderson University women's basketball team (6-5) picked up a 69-56 victory against Spalding University (3-8) on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.

COACH JON GIN'S COMMENTS

It was great to finally get back at it after a long break. It took us a half to shake off the rust. Coming out of halftime, we picked up the defensive intensity and that really helped jumpstart our offense. It wasn't pretty, but I thought our players did a great job of starring in their individual roles and that led to a great team win.
